Find your wellness short break at Glen Dye

Short stays are proving increasingly popular, so we’ve pulled together a simple wellness package to help you make the most of a few days spent here in the glen.

Here’s how it works:

Two nights accommodation, which will be allocated by the team at Glen Dye.

A two night break for two includes:

  • Dinner on arrival for two for both evenings.
  • A wellness hamper.
  • A wood-fired sauna session and cold dip tank.
  • A jar of Glen Dye honey.
  • Wellness breaks are £500 based on two people sharing.

That’s pretty good value we think. And now you can book a stay, starting almost any time over the summer, to take up the offer.

To book a stay, email Audrey or call on 01330 850 689.

Walk The Adventure Trail

Follow the pink way markers over the lade (mill stream) which will guide you around our mile-long Adventure Trail.

Along the way, you’ll find natural obstacles to test your balancing and climbing skills. If you find them all, you can pop over to the Seed Store to collect your celebratory badge.

Trail Points

Along the trail there are several way finder points for you to find.

  • A tipi frame made using fallen branches gathered from the surrounding woodland.
  • A ‘hidden’ tunnel to crawl through. You don’t need us to tell you what to do here, but all ages are encouraged to have a go.
  • Have a seat on the bench and see what you can see around you (while you catch your breath). Look up and see if you can see any clouds.
  • A mirror maze to see the beautiful reflections of the surroundings.
  • The spider’s web to test your scrambling skills.
  • A cairn built by our fabulous team and painted by artist Gail Bryson using seasonal colours of Glen Dye.
  • How many cats can you find hiding in the trees at Wild Cat Woods?
  • Take a moment to take in the forest sounds on the bench.
  • Finally, spot the life-sized outlines of a red stag and hind. There are four species found in Scotland: red, roe, fallow and sika, but only red and roe are native.

Walks at Glen Dye

The Scottish Highlands are known for their mountains, glens, deep lochs and ancient woods. It is a beautiful place and one that begs to be explored.

Glen Dye cabins and cottages are situated in a prime position for embracing the outdoors. Entirely enveloped by forest and rolling hills, there are a number of different hiking routes from the doorstep. Here we have shared a handful of our favourites.

These walks vary in levels and range from short to long routes, with some being challenging, others not so challenging, but all equally as enjoyable.

We want you to build great memories here at Glen Dye.
