We are delighted to offer a range of art classes, taught by our friend Mel Shand on site at Glen Dye.
Take inspiration from the beautiful surroundings and learn to translate what you see onto paper. These classes are designed to be fun and for all abilities.
All classes are designed to be equal parts challenging, engaging, rewarding and fun. Most are suitable for all ages. Please note this is an exclusive experience for you and your group and needs to be booked as a group.
Your Instructor
Your teacher will be Mel Shand who has a degree in fine art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee.
She works from her studio in Finzean, which is about 15 minutes from Glen Dye.
Her inspiration comes from a daily life lived in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, and the instinct to ‘paint what she knows’, through perception and observation.

You will learn the different and interesting ways of using watercolours paint.
Taking part in this session will leave you feeling inspired to continue your artistic journey.

In this bespoke art class, you will be fully engaged and will be participating in anything from painterly inspiration to life drawings. The world of art and inspiration is your oyster.
