The Glen Dye Discovery and Adventure Centre
NEW FOR 2024 THE DISCOVERY AND ADVENTURE CENTRE

The Glen Dye Discovery and Adventure Centre is a new project for 2024.
Guests can book a whole raft of experiences here including:
Cold water therapy: Alternate between icy cold tubs and sauna heat, which will benefit your circulation and leave you feeling truly great.
Fire-making techniques: Spend time learning how to make fire using traditional and non-traditional techniques without the use of matches or lighters. A skill that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Introduction to green wood carving: Discover the age old techniques of using knives, axes and saws to prepare materials for carving. You could carve something simple such as a tent peg or a more challenging cup or spoon.
Natural Cordage Workshop: Learn how to make your own rope or cord using only natural materials like stinging nettles. Which we think is pretty cool!
Axe Throwing: This one is self-explanatory and for thrill seekers, a popular session suitable for all ages under the guidance of a member of our team.
Evening Fireside Relation: After all the excitement of what Glen Dye has to offer spend the evening relaxing by a crackling fire with a warming hot chocolate and marshmallows for toasting.
You can even hire bikes for you or the whole family and expole the miles and miles or trails surrounding Glen Dye.
And so much more! We can also offer any classes for a complete hire or even a corporate away day.
